EGYPTIAN ESOTERIC ART

March 3, 2012 - Esotericists always refuse the death of the ancient Egypt because its purpose is immortality. Egyptian monuments are to decipher as an esoteric book and here are some keys for understanding the esoteric art of Egypt:

* Figures and numbers:
They are mathematical keys. Here comes the "Pyramidology" or science of the Egyptian pyramids wich are based on the triangle with sides 3-4-5 well-named the "Isis Triange " or "Golden Triangle" which was elaborated in honor of the Egyptian trinity: Osiris, Isis and their son, Horus. One finds in this type of triangle the numbers: 12 (3 + 4 + 5) and 6 (surface) (3=male, 4=female, 5=fruit of their union). The pyramid is a perfect tetrahedron which passes from the number 4 (the sides) to the number 3 (the triangles) and from 3 to 1: it joins the terrestrial multiplicity into the heavenly unity. The pyramid rushes towards union,
it projects the death towards the truth of the great-beyond and the living towards the sunlight. Pythagoras worshiped the Isis triangle.

* Colors and forms:
They are physical keys. Egyptians used only three colors: green, blue, black. Green for Osiris, the god of flora, agriculture. Blue for Amun the god of breath, air. Black for Anubis, the god od of resurrection.

* Orientation:
They are astrological keys. The pharaoh was used to trace the line of the exterior walls of the temples according the observation of the stars of the Ursa Major.

The general principle of esotericism in Egyptian monuments is formulated as follows: monument is microcosm (reduced image of the world) or meganthropus (enlarged image of the man).

Freemasons have developed numerous "Egyptian" rituals, the most famous one remains the Cagliostro’s Egyptian Rite.

The Egyptian pyramid forms a chart that gives the measure between the man and the world and their relations, also the means to overcome them.
