Feb. 4th, 2018 - Aleister Crowley, born Edward Alexander Crowley (1875–1947) was an English occultist, ceremonial magician, poet, painter, novelist, and mountaineer, known also under the name of Frater Perdurabo. He founded the religion of Thelema, identifying himself as the prophet entrusted with guiding humanity into the Æon of Horus in the early 20th century (read more on wikipedia).

His atypical personality was the subject of a fantastic film : "Magical wedding" in 1998 who described his possible resurrection falsely as the Beast of destruction.

Here is his testimonial poem, extracted from his work "Book of Lies", pulbished in 1912.

STARLIGHT

Behold! I have lived many years,
and I have travelled in every land
that is under the dominion of the Sun,
and I have salied the seas from pole to pole.
Now do I left up my voice and testify that all is
vanity on earth, except the love of a good woman,
and that good woman LAYLAH. And I testify
that heaven all is vanity (for I have journeyed
oft, and sojourned oft in every heaven),
except the love of OUR LADY BABALON.
And I testify that beyond heaven and earth
is the love of OUR LADY NUIT.
