SECT AND SEX: LOVING AT THE MIRIAM’S

Nov.8th, 2011 – “Miriam” is the hebraic translation of the christian name Mary but who knows that the name of Miriam is also the naming of a mystical school founded in 1897 in Italy by the occultist Giuliano Kremmerz. Its subject is the practicing of hermetic sciences. It is a secret erotico magic association which after being excommunicated after the 2nd war, has been at least recognized. It is particularly active in the North of Italy, specially in Tuscany. The Miriam initiation is practiced in two: a male and a female. It requires long hours of meditation in a templum. The couple is used to burn incense to invoke protective powers and recite mantra. They stand naked in from of each other but without physical contact and they have to maintain a nervous tension thanks to a respiratory method. After seven weeks at least, they can succeed to reach the great passage as an achievement: under the forms of lights, their doubles are drawn from their physical bodies, floating in the templum for absorbing themselves in a fluidic communion close to the divine. Then each double rejoins its carnal envelope.

After this magic operation, the exhausted couple will stay closely united: for ever, will remain a diffuse and mutual erotic sensation that neither the absence nor the distance will cancel. The Miriam hermetic society warns that the Grand Passage carries the risk of sudden death or madness and so if demands are numerous, acceptance is very strict and new members are rare.
