THOSE PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE IN GHOSTS

At the beginning of the last century, in Brittany (France), during the night of All Saints’ day, families were used to wait for dinner the deads they loved.

At midnight when tireness made more heavier eyelids, they saw their ghost guests slipping by the half-opened left door and sat down at table during one moment dividing the warmness of their previous home and the meat of livings.

If you believe that this old tradition has now disapeared with all these silly things, you are wrong!

If you think that nowadays people believe no more in ghosts, you are wrong, too !

Indeed a very serious pre-Halloween poll conducted in October 16-18 by The Associated Press and Ipsos indicates that:

– One-third of people believe in ghosts.

– Nearly one out of four, 23%, say they’ve actually seen a ghost or felt its presence.

– About one out of five people, 19%, say they accept the existence of spells or witchcraft.

– Nearly half, 48%, believe in extrasensory perception, or ESP.

– And extraordinary, they are not rural people who believe more in ghosts but citazens... and not the oldest...
