POPULARITY AND POLICY OF SIMPLICITY

May 22nd, 2020 - Generally Terrificator does not do politics. But today is not custom because we are going to talk about the policy of simplicity.

If we take as a model the French Revolution which was initiated in 1789 by a Parisian popular movement which originally wanted to defeat a prison named by "La Bastille" and then, which asked for bread in front of the King Palace, we generally think that it is the popolo minuto which is at the origin of the French Republic. In reality, the movement has been recovered by the intelligentsia of the time (lawyers like Robespierre, Danton, Desmoulins, doctor like Marat, noble like Mirabeau, intellectuals or journalists like Olympe de Gouge, Prudhomme, Hébert, Brissot ...). It is on this logic, that hoisted to power or too close to power many of this elite lost their heads literally as well as figuratively.

Must the elite who initiates changes, who governs a nation, be necessarily above the people?

We will answer NO, because people who rise above the "little people" by claiming any superiority, will never be models.

To move a nation, to initiate fundamental changes, the Head of a nation must embody in his everyday life an accessible model. Gandi, Mao Zedong, Lenine, General de Gaulle, Abraham Lincoln, Nelson Mandela, amongst famous others... were in their time inspired political figures who became popular models.

At first glance a techno-media elite can be reassuring but will never be an inspiring model in the long term because if it has acquired knowledge, it is devoid of the intuitive and charismatic intelligence specific to any great man.
